We are looking for an accountant to support our finance team. You will be part of a team responsible for the company’s finances and operations.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in finance and accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Manage accounting and bookkeepers
  • Participate in financial reporting and budget preparation
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
  • Liaise with our Financial Manager to improve financial procedures
  • Manages all the operating and day to day tasks 
  • Assistant in preparation of payments
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual audit


We are looking for candidates with a financial and accounting background and hands-on experience in daily financial operations. 


  • Minimum Bachelor degree in financial & economics or relevant field or relevant vocational training (min 3 years experience)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • In-depth understanding of Belgian GAAP accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English


  • Experience working with Odoo software 
  • Working experience in Africa, Asia or America is a plus
  • Working experience in a small fast-growing company is a plus
