Sales Administrator – Burundi or Senegal

Job Position

You are part of a highly talented and technical team working on strategic global health issues such as Polio Eradication, Malaria control and elimination, Access to Family Planning services, Universal Health Coverage. As part of the onboarding process, you will gradually get acquainted with the different lines of services of Bluesquare. 

The ‘Sales Administrator’ assists business developers and sales professionals in the administrative part of managing the sales pipeline, drafting proposals, and closing of contracts. Also more repetitive tasks in the sales process can be assigned to the sales administrator.

The person is an integral part of the PM Sales Team, reporting directly to the PM Sales Lead and working in close collaboration with other sales colleagues .

Location: Bujumbura or Dakar

Team: We are a horizontal company with more than 60 team members in multiple countries. You are part of the PM Sales team. We value ownership, autonomy, flexibility, communication and teamwork.

Roles & responsibilities   

Your scope of responsibilities spans from daily tasks to more detail oriented tasks, more specifically:

  • Assistance in the sales process: scheduling appointments, preparing sales contracts, update the sales pipeline, keep minutes during meetings, etc.
  • Maintain wiki’s of various business development processes 
  • Assistance in the offer writing process: prepare the template for the offer, fill in the standard part of the offer with standardized materials, etc.
  • Taking the lead on administrative parts of the proposal: company cv’s, company descriptions, prepare annexes, etc.
  • Liaise with management & team members across our business to ensure accurate proposals
  • Liaise with external counterparts for non business critical meetings as needed, without support from Bluesquare management

Profile

Required:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as international development, computer science, or public health, or in lieu of academic qualifications, excellent work history and references with a relevant organization
  • Excellent oral and writing skills in English 
  • At least 3 year experience in an admin, donor relations or sales coordination position, or in lieu of work history, a combination of top academic qualifications and internships may be considered on a case by case basis

Preferred:

  • Excellent oral and writing skills in French
  • Experience with an NGO or consultancy 
  • Experience working in an international company
  • Know-how of the international public health sector

  • Organized, structured with attention to detail
