Presenting Bluesquare RMNCAH work at the Urban Birth Collective Forum

🏙️ Where you live in a city shapes how you experience pregnancy, birth, and care.

Bluesquare has been working at this intersection for years: mapping geographic access to maternal health services in Benin and Senegal, modeling women’s vulnerability profiles to strengthen RMNCAH investments, and tracking key indicators at national, regional, and district levels in Côte d’Ivoire and Niger, all to give decision-makers the evidence to reach the communities that need it most.

This week, Sihem Attalah and Yann Forget have been bringing these conversations to the Urban Birth Collective Forum at the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp, alongside maternal health experts, urban planners, social scientists, and policymakers to gain a better understanding of urban health systems.

Wrapping up today, and grateful for the conversations, connections, and shared perspectives.

A big thank you to Lenka Beňová and her team for organizing this inaugural forum!
