GAPS is built on a robust architecture that embeds the complex business logic of the GPEI funding cycle to ensure maximum accuracy.
The system imports and validates budget data (grants, funding needs) from often heterogeneous and error-prone Excel files, as well as from the GSM (Global Management System).
The platform uses algorithms to suggest automatic provisional allocations, optimizing the use of remaining flexible funds while respecting donor-specific constraints (risk level, geographic area, expiration date).
The software allows comparison of multiple allocation strategies to analyze potential outcomes before finalization. This new decision lever is a major asset for the resource mobilization team, enabling them to use quantified impact-based arguments to accelerate donor funding and, in some cases, increase donation amounts.
