This isn’t just a travel statistic. It’s the reality on the ground along the Kisangani-Buta route in Bas-Uélé. For teams working in the field, reaching health actors means sometimes facing roads turned to mud, freeing vehicles stuck by hand, and relying on the extraordinary solidarity of local communities to move forward, meter by meter.
But the stakes went far beyond logistics. Behind these obstacles lay a crucial mission: training PNECHOL teams on the AppSSC application, powered by IASO, as part of the SANRU Extension App SSC project. Thanks to this unwavering determination, the training was a resounding success, equipping the province with the tools needed for reliable community data collection.
